Close - Energy Performance & Environmental
home that is bought, sold or rented in the United
Kingdom now requires an Energy Performance Certificate,
or EPC. This certificate offers home buyers the
chance to see, at a glance, just how energy efficient
their new home is likely to be, and also what
impact living there may have on the environment.
about the energy efficiency of the home and the
carbon emissions it will generate are summarised
in two charts that show the energy and carbon
dioxide emission ratings. Charts like these are
already familiar to most of us, since many electrical
appliances, such as fridges and washing machines,
have been sold with these on display for years.
Spencer Courtney Homes we have been striving for
years to incorporate energy-efficient features
into the homes we build, and we pride ourselves
on the high ratings our houses achieve, and the
low carbon footprint they impose on the environment.
The new development at Orchard Close is no exception,
and the EPC charts for the three typical homes
are illustrated below.
